Miranda holds a BA in Elementary Education and brings an extensive background in teaching and coaching.
Driven by a lifelong curiosity and love of learning, she has spent years exploring the connection between our experiences and the beliefs, patterns and behaviors that emerge from them.
She is a graduate of Dr. Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry training program, which helps individuals break out of the story in the mind and be present with the emotions stored in the body. Elements of the CI process may be woven into one-on-one sessions as appropriate and welcomed.
Although Miranda's work is informed by her professional training and diverse background, her faith in God and belief in Jesus as the ultimate healer are its foundation. She has learned firsthand how deeply shame and complex trauma can impact our identity, purpose and sense of connection, which created a passion for meeting people where they are at and walking alongside them with empathy and encouragement.
Her hope is to remind others that finding wholeness and confidence in who God created us to be can be a gentle unfolding . Sometimes, the mind and nervous system need time and new experiences to fully embrace and integrate what the heart and soul already know to be true.
